Severe storms 25 miles west of I-75 are moving toward Live Oak and Lake City which will bring high winds and a slight tornado potential risk. These storms are tracking east and will impact the greater Jacksonville area from 9-10 am. Weather will go downhill through the mid-morning hours with damaging
winds as the main threat from these storms. The risk window will be brief lasting 30-45 minutes when it arrives. Hail and/or isolated tornadoes cannot be ruled out. The severe weather ends by Noon. Spotty showers remain in the early afternoon before dry air moves in this evening and all weekend long.
