Warm and quiet tonight, near record highs on a hot Hump day...
The showers have ended, but it is still warm under clearing skies. Patchy fog will develop near Highway 301 to I-75. Near record highs continue through Thursday. We will have to reach 96 degrees tomorrow to tie a record. Even if the mercury doesn't climb that high, thanks to the humidity it will still feel as hot.
Now: Warm, light breeze.
Tonight: Clear, mild, patchy fog.
Wednesday: Near record highs continue under sunny skies. Another warm start with areas of fog through sunrise. Morning lows in the upper 60s to low 70s. Afternoon highs in the low to mid 90s inland, 80s along our beaches. Wind: SW 5-10 mph.
Looking ahead: Near record highs Thursday then cooling under cloudy skies as showers and storms sweep through on Friday. A slight chance of showers early Saturday then partly cloudy. Seasonal temperatures continue for Mother's Day.
